CUPAR TRIBUTE TO LADY BADER AT CIVIC RECEPTION

On 8th September 2005, a Civic Reception was held by Fife Council in honour of Lady Bader, OBE, who came to Cupar to support our fundraising efforts. It was held in the County Buildings, Cupar, and over 70 distinguished guests paid tribute to Lady Bader, OBE, and her late husband, Sir Douglas. The Civic Reception was hosted by Fife Council, and members of the community took the opportunity to chat with Lady Bader, OBE, about the project.

OUR FUNDRAISING SCHEDULE

Lady Bader launched a month of fundraising activities, which included the sale of thousands of Douglas Bader tulip bulbs (5 for £3), and unique Bader posters.

Sale venues and dates were as follows: Saturday, September 10th: RAF Leuchars Airshow; Saturday, September 17 th and Sunday, September 18 th:Fife Council Garden Show, Glenrothes; Saturday, September 24 th, Tesco Store, Cupar.
