Local Firm JG Lang & Son Give £300 To Support Garden

THE fundraising campaign to regenerate the Douglas Bader Garden in Cupar has attracted the support of successful local businessman John Lang.

Mr Lang, who owns Hilton of Carslogie Farm, based just outside Cupar, has donated £300 to the group to help them in their aims to create a unique facility that Fife can be proud of.

Mr Lang said this week: "Over the summer, we have had both local people and visitors alike visiting the farm to purchase our produce, and we felt that we wanted to give something back to the people of Cupar to thank them for supporting a local business like ours.

"We have been following the work of the Friends of the Douglas Bader Memorial Garden with interest, and feel that the campaign to create a world-class facility in Cupar is well worth our support."

Susan Blake, Secretary of the Friends Group, added that the backing of a prominent local business like J. G. Lang and Son was an excellent boost to the project.

She said: "The group was thrilled when Mr Lang called to say he wanted to help our cause, and it is great to know that our concept is recognized and supported by local businesses like this.

"We very much look forward to working with Mr Lang in the future, and drawing on his local knowledge and business expertise."
